New Sofortbild Beta version includes D5000 support

August 3rd, 2009 by Stefan Hafeneger

Please try out the new beta version of Sofortbild which includes support for Nikon D5000. It is otherwise basically the same version as the last one without the console output. It should work now with any Nikon DSLR. Please let me know if you encounter any problems with your camera.

Help needed for Sofortbild support for missing camera models

June 11th, 2009 by Stefan Hafeneger

Thanks everybody who tried the Sofortbild Beta. Unfortunately I could not really figure out what works and what not. So I compiled a new beta version of Sofortbild which prints several information. Please download the new beta, run it and then send me the output.

To do so, launch “Console” and filter for “Sofortbild”. Then clear the log. Launch Sofortbild and try several things. Then send me an email to support[AT]sofortbildapp.com using the subject “Sofortbild Beta” including a short description of what you did, the model of your camera, your system information and of course the output. If the application crashed please add the latest crash report as well.

Thank you very much in advance.

The new Sofortbild Website is finally online. It took some time because Mario and I had other stuff to do. We hope you like the new website design. We will do some small changes form time to time and add more pages and setup a own weblog for Sofortbild.

Sofortbild support for missing camera models

June 1st, 2009 by Stefan Hafeneger

I’ve just added support for Nikon D2, D1, D100, D70 and D50 to Sofortbild. Since there is no official SDK for those camera models and I don’t own them I don’t know if it will really work. So please let me know if you own one of the camera models and would like to try the new Sofortbild Beta.

Arrived at Cupertino

May 30th, 2009 by Stefan Hafeneger

I had a really pleasant flight in the business class yesterday. The food was really god (serves on plates) and I had much more space than I needed.

I met Argiris finally at the airport in San Francisco and then we took a cab to Cupertino where we met Bridger who was already waiting for us. David will arrive on Saturday.

The appartment is really nice and the location awesome.

We went out to have some drinks and nachos and then went to bed at about 1AM.

Argiris and I woke up this morning at about 6:30AM because we couldn’t sleep anymore … jetlag.

We are now going to explore the neighborhood and grab some breakfast.
