Progress report

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

We’ve arrived in San Francisco and already had some nice days. The weather is great. Unfortunately we don’t had time yet to blog anything and it seems that we will do that when we are back in Germany. Perhaps I will upload the pictures I’ve taken so far soon and will update them regularly.

Update: Pictures are now online.

Once more…

I just finished packing my bags. Tomorrow morning at 5:56 AM, Roland and I will start our WWDC journey at Cologne central station and then take the plane to San Francisco. So the next blog entry should appear after we return from the WALL•E screening.

iPhone DataMatrix Reader Source Code

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

My iPhone DataMatrix Reader Xcode project is now available as free download on CocoaHeads Aachen. It works on the iPhone Simulator (using a barcode image stored in the application bundle) and on the iPhone. Because it uses the official iPhone SDK there is no need to jailbrake the iPhone, but you need the iPhone OS 2.0.

I will update the Xcode project soon so the DataMatrix Reader will work on the iPod touch as well. You may use the source code for personal use only. If you would like to use the Cocoa libdmtx wrapper for commercial use please drop me a line.
