If anybody wants to generate QR code on the fly to test and take a picture off the screen, you can do with an online generator eg. here…

It worked fine for me, just don’t get the iPhone too near the screen, otherwise the result will be too big.
Good idea with zooming and very nice interface. QR code works well, but datamatrix is decoded just one out of ten times. I tried big codes from screen and 2×2xcm codes from paper.
Great idea. Anxiously awaiting 1d bar codes (upc bar codes, etc.).
I would like to request (even pay…) to get the results of UPC barcodes to import into FileMaker databases or export as a tab delimited file that I can import into FM or SQL, etc.
The app is cool and works very well, but I miss the normal barcode. And a code generator would be very nice!
Nice start, looking forward to further updates…! But couldn’t you at least have included German localization…?! :(
It’s not that much text to work with and it sure adds to the user experience…
And it’s bad enough that US developers don’t bother localizing their apps, but when even German and/or European devs ignore their own languages, it’s just sad…!
I don’t own an iPhone yet, but your application has almost got me sold. If you could scan 1D barcodes like UPC, ISBN, Code 128, I could make some amazing art.

Hi – nice idea, but why don’t you support normal UPC barcodes? Is it a copyright issue? I’d have thought that they are simpler and require less code than the square 2 dimensional ones?
Hi! Größere QR-Codes funktionieren leider mit Deinem Reader nicht auf dem iPhone. Warum nicht? Wie bekomme ich raus, welche Version ich habe? Im (C) steht ne Menge drin, aber die Version irgendwie nicht…

nice app, but the space where the decoded test is shown is too small!! after a successful decode, I’m not interested in looking at the picture! now, I still get a lot of space for the picture but must scroll a minuscule decoded text in a tiny sub-window… would you consider to show the decoded text in a full window?
also, the saved codes are shown (partially, only what fits the screen) in a useless list… would you consider providing a small manager as so many other applications do?
also, the decoding process is a bit too sensitive to centering and aligning the barcode inside the red corner markers… you should make it more robust to skew, rotation and translation
in any case, great app! :-)
